FIFA Threatens to Ban Nigeria From International Football.(See Why)

 

 

Sepp Blatter the President of world football governing body FIFA, has warned that Nigeria is at risk of getting an international ban due to government's direct interference after a court sacked the football federation's executive committee. 

The Nigerian sports minister Tammy Danagogo, yesterday Thursday July 3rd, appointed Mr. Lawrence Katiken as sole adminstrator of the NFF. Danagogo acted after a high court sitting in Plateau State granted an injunction stopping elected NFF president Aminu Maigari, his executive committee and the NFF congress from office, which implys a direct interference by government in football, which is against FIFA's regulations.
